Services

Eight areas, one principle: standard before customizing.

Consulting & Architecture

Standard-first: understand first, then decide, then build.

Problem: “We need 40 customizations.” A wish list that grew over years, each item sounds plausible, together they blow up budget and maintainability.

Solution: A structured analysis against the standard: what does B1 cover, what does a better process solve, what remains as real customizing?

Result: Typically, a handful of customizations with real differentiating value remain out of 40 requests. The rest is standard and training.

Development & Integration

Service Layer, Web Client, interfaces, performance.

Problem: The classic add-on breaks on every upgrade, maintenance eats the margin, and the original developer is long gone.

Solution: Native extensions via Service Layer and MTAR. Upgrade-stable, documented, ready for handover. Without a third-party runtime.

Result: Validations and mandatory fields implemented natively in the Web Client. Configured in minutes instead of days of custom UI5 work.

How I work

  • Standard before customizingThe cheapest customization is the one you do not build.
  • Honest consultingRecommendations based on effort and value, not on order volume.
  • Only build what is missingNative in the Web Client, without a third-party runtime.
